Dr. Lawrence Yuen
Lawrence is a medical graduate of the University of New South Wales and during his undergraduate years spent 18 months as a research fellow at the J.Jacobs Centre for Thrombosis and Vascular Biology at the Cleveland Clinic, Ohio USA. He did his internship, residency and general surgical training through the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney and was admitted as a Fellow of the Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010. He spent his first year of post fellowship training at Westmead Hospital, Sydney in kidney and pancreas transplantation, including multiorgan retrieval. He spent his second post fellowship year in liver and kidney transplantation and hepatopancreaticobiliary surgery at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane.
He was appointed as a staff specialist general and transplant surgeon at Westmead hospital in 2012.
