Angela is a Nephrologist and Transplant Physician, having trained in England, Scotland and Australia. She studied Clinical Epidemiology and her PhD at the University of Sydney. She now works part time at Westmead Hospital and part time for the Sydney School of Public Health as a Senior Lecturer in Clinical Epidemiology. Angela’s areas of research interest include the interaction of kidney disease with cancer, and kidney disease with cardiovascular disease. Her research focuses on the critical exploration of randomized trial and diagnostic accuracy study methodology, the application of advanced statistical concepts in meta-analysis, the manipulation and analysis of large datasets, the methods and application of linkage of large national databases, and design and interpretation of cohort studies.
